Unity Hub Beta (Stand Alone Application)

Unity Hub (at present available in Beta) is a stand alone application which is developed to help the users to manage their Unity Projects in a centralized location. The users can easily search, download and manage their Unity Editor installs. With the help of unity Hub you will be able to download the unity of different version without having to uninstall already installed version of your system. The start up time is fast and there are many more features available in this desktop application in comparison to the already available Unity Software. As Unity Hub is in its testing phase and has a lot of room for improvements. So while the game developers use Unity Hub to manage their Unity projects they can help the administrator by providing the information about bug and the lacking features to the software. This way we can take a part in helping the Unity Developers to build the best game developing software ever and when they release the final and improved Unity software officially, what do you think you yourself will think at that time? I don't know about others as I am not a telepath but I do know that (if the software consist of the feature I wanted) I will be happy and excited to be using it and discover that it has the features that I wanted and I would be proud that I helped them to create such fabulous software.
Now, enough of my thought about the Unity Hub Beta. Let's see the features that are now available in it. Following are the features that  Unity Hub currently does:
  1. Consolidates Unity Editor management:  There is an area dedicated in the Unity Hub for finding and downloading the Unity Editor of different versions, latest or even old versions  and even beta versions. The downloading of the unity editors of different version can be done with a single click at "Download" button in "Installs" options.
  2. Get Component and post installs:  add-on components are now easy to install as it can be install later after the installation which was not easy in the past.
  3. Access to templates: There is a new feature of templates which help in the jump-start the creation process for common project types. The templates available at present are:
    1. Standard 2D
    2. Standard 3D
    3. Lightweight games (mobile, low spec machines)
    4. High Definition (high visual quality, high spec devices)
    5. Lightweight VR
These are the main features that you will find in the Unity Hub in your own when you try it for yourself.
Unity is a growing game development platform software which is popular at present. With many new features released at time to time it is developing its users and popularity and I hope that it will be able to meet the expectation of most users and help a great deal in the game development field. That's all.

Have a GOOD DAY !!!
